God’s Gift of Peace

Peace is Assured in Christ

Do you ever feel like there is an emptiness in your heart? Does life seem sad and depressing? Are you always fearfully wondering what’s next? Is your heart calling out for help? Ever wonder why, and ask yourself what can you do?

Keep reading because today the answer is right before you. You see peace is not something we earn, find in a trance or get from living a good, clean life. God in heaven is the only one who has a peace that is guaranteed without strings attached.

His peace is unconditional and available for you, now. Our faith should rest in Christ, and our peace not in what we see. Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – NKJV Bible

God, at the right time in history, sent his Son to bring unending hope and peace to a broken and hurting world. This peace cannot be duplicated but is found only through a relationship with God’s Son. In Christ we can have this free gift and the promise of eternal life and peace with God. Peace comes when we stop trying to do it our own way and do it God’s way. We give up and let God take care of our lives.

You Can Receive Peace

  1. We must first admit we cannot do it alone. We must admit we need Jesus’ peace to change us now and take us to new levels.
  2. We must believe that Christ is who he says he is and that he died for our sins, so we could live free and experience his peace.
  3. To gain this peace in our heart and mind we must confess that Jesus is Lord and ask him to forgive all our sins and failures no matter how small or how big.
  4. Finally, to experience his love and peace we must ask him to live in our peaceless heart and save our soul.

In the Bible, in Ephesians 2:14,

referring to Jesus it says,

“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, “—NKJV  Bible

If this is you today, I ask you to pray the prayer on the back of this tract to ask Jesus into your heart. You won’t regret it. This life can be short, but eternity is forever.

The Sinner’s Prayer

What is the Sinner’s Prayer?

It is a prayer that those who are unsaved, those who do not yet know Jesus in a personal way pray to become saved. Those who want to avoid going to hell and want to go to heaven pray this prayer. John 3:16 God gave so we could be saved.

Pray this now:

Jesus, I know that you are real, and I need you now, today! So, forgive me of all my sins. No sin is too small or too big for you to forgive. Come into my peaceless heart and live there. I want to be alive spiritually and be in heaven when I die. Make me a new creation in Christ Jesus, according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, oh Lord. Amen.
